At-A-Glance

John Deere is committed to improving farming technologies by making the designs of their digital products more accessible and easy-to-use. Over the years, their products have augmented the logistics at big farms but have been consistently shied away at finding a home at small farms. Thus, through this class project, John Deere and my team focused on addressing the needs of small and novice farm owners and find pragmatic solutions to improve farm management processes.

We decided to combine the home screen status feature and the design of the tables in the analyze tab from our first sketch concept Seed2Product. Our intention was to be mindful of information overload from John Deere’s original design of OCM and to create a way to make this more approachable for small novice farmers.
